The internationally active Ljubljana-based trio Torul is returning with their new, ninth full-length album Superposition, which they will present live at the Katedrala Hall in Kino Šiška. The album will be released on 14 February by the German label Infacted Recordings, and the concert will, of course, feature numerous hits that have dominated domestic and international charts and playlists since 2011.

A few months ago, the album Superposition gave birth to its first single, the hard-hitting banger “Just Go”, accompanied by a witty office-themed music video. The rest of the album likewise offers a diverse journey through various emotions and themes, intertwining synthpop, electropop, indie pop, darkwave, synthwave, and more, in line with Torul’s inquisitive approach to blending different styles. Like the album End Less Dreams two years ago, Superposition will have its debut presentation at Kino Šiška.
From Torulsson’s solo beginnings many years ago, Torul has gradually evolved into an internationally recognised trio that regularly performs abroad. Their melodic blend of dark atmospheres, rock energy, and various electronic elements also caught the attention of the legendary British band Mesh, who invited them on tour in 2013. They’ve also played at clubs and festivals across Europe, including the renowned Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, M’era Luna, and Amphi.
Niowt returns to the stage after a twenty-year hiatus! The legendary Ljubljana-based duo, composed of Mojca Krevel and Peter Šenk, captivated the German alternative scene in the 1990s with their albums Niowt and Loverboy, and performed at the largest European dark festival, Wave Gothic Treffen. Now, they are embarking on a new musical journey. Following the singles “Lamenting Venus” and the latest “Bedtime Stories”, released in collaboration with producer Peter Penko, the group is preparing a new album. At Kino Šiška, they will premiere fresh material alongside guitarist Goran Koražija and revisit some of their earlier tracks that cemented Niowt as key figures of the alternative music scene.
