Artist Hana Podvršič explores overlooked spaces in daily life, finding calm and introspection amidst routine expectations.
Her exhibition Centrifuge parallels the constant cycle of life, highlighting the queer experience of stepping outside norms. Through mixed-media installations, she blends everyday materials with artistic vision, prompting viewers to contemplate the unnoticed beauty in our world and find solace in the unfamiliar.
Hana Podvršič (1998) is an interdisciplinary artist. She began her exploration of textile and clothing design during her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana. She then pursued a Master’s degree in photography at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana and further enriched her knowledge in information design during an exchange program at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, Germany.
