“Theoretically, there is a significantly greater chance that I would have been born somewhere in India than in Trbovlje…”
At a solo exhibition in DobraVaga, photographer Jaka Teršek presents a photographic record of the forty-seven days he spent on the road between southern Kerala and Uttar Pradesh in northern India. The documentary approach works suggestively here, while the juxtaposition of photographs and the combination of images with short diary entries in the form of picturesque impressions leaves the meaning open. Viewers are invited to encounter a world full of impulses, paradoxes and scenes that make one question one’s own perception for a moment or two.
We will open the exhibition with a short conversation with the artist.
Welcome until 25. 2. 2023.
Organisation: Kino Šiška / DobraVaga
Free admission.
