Laura Krajnc (violin, vocals and tambourine tamer) and Sven Horvat (guitar tamer, and sometimes also sings something) incorporate their love of fairy tales, funny anecdotes, theatre and other such fancies into their music.
The duo, open to all genres, combines folk and ethno music with punk chanson, cabaret, jazz, blues, pop and rock into a hard, alternative singer-songwriter expression, striving to maintain social critique and cheekiness, creative autonomy and good humour and to bring folk tradition into music. Their work primarily reflects an interest in man and in comic, rebellious, confused, tragic, unhappy and happy lives.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall.
