Following their acclaimed album release in front of a full Katedrala Hall in February, local darlings zalagasper return to Kino Šiška. In light of the present circumstances, we’re looking forward to an even more intimate performance in hybrid form, as the concert will be both open to a real live audience and available via online streaming.

Electro pop duo zalagasper, composed of singer Zala Kralj and multi-instrumentalist Gašper Šantl, first drew the attention of the broader public with their hit song “Valovi”, as affirmed by the Golden Flute music award. His subtle, sensual electronic pop and her charmingly dreamy voice, compared by Mladina to “American dream pop icon Hope Sandoval“, just seem made for each other. Following a run of successful singles, the young artists established themselves with their Eurovision performance of “Sebi” not just in Slovenia, but internationally as well. Their popularity abroad is evidenced not just at gigs at festivals such as Moscow Music Week and Waves Vienna, but also by the fact that in September, they took first place on the INES#talent chart of the most promising acts in the EU for the second month in a row.
In February, their album release concert for their debut 4 was among the last pre-pandemic shows in front of a live audience at our venue, so it seems right that they’re among the first to welcome you back.
Due to current public health regulations, the number of spaces in our hall is limited, but have no fear – the concert will take place in hybrid form.
