On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of DobraVaga, a varied programme will take place, also including a zine workshop under the mentorship of artist Petra Korent.

The anniversary focuses on the theme of the marketplace as a space where the gallery is located and that it actively co-shapes. Workshop participants will walk around the marketplace and draw what is happening around them, with various drawing tools available to them. At the end of the workshop, we will scan the drawings, put them together in a meaningful way and combine them into a group zine, which will find its place in our reading room archive.

Petra Korent (1997) is a visual artist working in the field of illustration. In 2017, she introduced herself to the general public with a solo exhibition as part of the ZINE VITRINE programme at the DobraVaga Gallery in Ljubljana. Since then, she has actively participated in many group and solo exhibitions. In her work, she explores different media and intimacy, thus recording her feelings towards herself and other individuals. She looks for inspiration in her home environment and its everyday objects and events.
