ZINE READING ROOM / Gramfall: The Enigmatic Metropolis

Exhibition and presentation of the group zine by ALUO students of illustration

Hidden in the perpetual twilight, Gramfall is a place full of mystery and supernatural phenomena.

The city is controlled by the ubiquitous Gramfall Corporation, and its name and identity are inextricably linked to this shadowy conglomerate. The corporation’s influence extends to every aspect of life, especially through its excessive and unusual advertising campaign that permeates the urban landscape. Neon billboards and holographic screens bombard the citizens with subliminal messages, creating obedient and controlled subjects.

Gramfall thrives in this state of chaotic harmony despite – or perhaps because of – these bizarre phenomena. Its citizens, although manipulated and oppressed, navigate their strange reality with a sense of resignation and acceptance. The boundaries between the natural and the supernatural are becoming blurred and Gramfall is turning into a place where anything can happen and nothing is really as it seems.

We invite you to the opening, or rather the unveiling of the latest secrets of Gramfall…
