Artist Katarina Klauž will feature in the Zine Vitrine exhibition programme with Let’s Learn About Shapes! In the exhibition, she explores the reorientation of the meanings of shapes that we usually interpret as familiar.
By placing incorrect content within these shapes, she creates a field of unpredictability that borders on childlike freedom for the viewer.
Katarina Klauž (2003) is a graphic designer and student of visual communication design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She explores the boundaries between art and design and tries to figure out how to go beyond them in a fun and ironic way. She designed the exhibition catalogue for the Portal 27778 exhibition space for the 2021/2022 season and participates in the international REVIVE project for the revitalisation of historic cities.
