The photozine “va bene!” is the result of an autumn trip to eastern Sicily. It is five days of Catania and its surroundings, condensed into a quick publication. The photos do not carry any special weight, they are exactly what they are, nothing more and nothing less. The zine was made spontaneously upon returning to Ljubljana. It is a selection of photographs that are extremely dear to the author and that are a reminder of how perfectly long only five days can be.
Iva Suhadolnik Gregorin is a sophomore at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, having previously studied at the Faculty of Architecture for three years. Her areas of interest include analog photography, performance, naive illustration and video. She has held solo exhibitions at Soteska 8 and the Volja studio. With the IDWID collective, she was part of the dance-visual performance “Dimensions of Contact” at the Dance Theatre Ljubljana. Her photography shifts between the emotional, socially critical, documentary, street and abstract. She often associates a photographic project with a performance, with the photograph itself being only the end product. In her projects, she explores interpersonal relationships, power relations, the influence of the patriarchy and the gender binary, the occupation of common/public space, and everything in between. Her more informal focus, however, revolves around documenting the everyday.

COVID POLICY
When entering the venue during public cultural events, applicable public health regulations must be observed, including presenting required proof of recovery, vaccination or negative test result and valid ID document. As proof of compliance with the requirement, an EU digital COVID Certificate in digital or paper form, equipped with a QR code (text messages are not valid), may be submitted, or another certificate or proof in accordance with regulations, which the competent person shall verify by inspecting the submitted certificate or proof.
