The new year brings an important change to Šiška. Starting February 2025, we’re saying goodbye to single-use plastic and (finally) introducing returnable washable cups. Why? Because at concert venues with large daily audiences, plastic cups are one of the biggest sources of waste.

At Kino Šiška, we’re aware of our responsibility and want to be part of the solution. With a contribution of €1, which we’ve named the “eco euro,” we will finance the maintenance and washing of the cups.

How will the system work?

• On your first visit, you pay €1 and receive a returnable cup for use.
• Enjoy the event as usual (with less guilt).
• After the event, return the cup and receive a token, which you can also use as a keychain.
• On your next visit, exchange the token for a cup, and the fun continues!

By introducing the returnable cup system, we’re taking care to make our Šiška a bit less plastic and a bit more sustainable. Since this will be a big change for both us and our visitors, we kindly ask for a little patience, especially at the beginning. We’ll do our best to ensure a smooth transition.
