Katedrala Hall

Since the opening of the Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture, the former cinema hall has become one of the most important venues in Slovenia and the broader region. With its 932 standing capacity and 450 seating capacity, as well as its state-of-the-art technical equipment, the Katedrala Hall is one of the few venues which provides you with the feeling of proximity to the performer, regardless of your position in the hall. The largest hall at Kino Šiška has played host to the most prominent names on the Slovenian and international music scene, highlights of cinema, experimental workshops and theater and dance events. The hall is often rented by third-party concert and event organizers, as its flexibility makes it suitable for corporate and congress events. The venue is also popular with organisers of roundtable discussions and debates with an audience in the hundreds.

Komuna Hall

Katedrala’s little sister offers a boutique setting with a more intimate connection between the audience and the performer. With its 200 standing capacity,120 seating capacity and support pillars surrounding the stage, the Komuna Hall is, among other things, perfect for holding concerts of the Indekš series, roundtables and dance performances during the CoFestival international contemporary dance festival. The hall can be rearranged into a conference room, which makes it popular among organizers of various events.

Café Kino Šiška

In the lower lobby, you can relax in Café Kino Šiška, one of the last remaining pearls of 1960s modernist architecture. There’s something on offer for everyone, from tasty cold and hot snacks to soft drinks, a varied selection of over 90 (craft) beers, daily newspapers – or you can browse the web on the KINOSISKA public network. Have we mentioned that we also have a summer garden? Well, we do.

The café is open every day from 8 AM to 11 PM or until midnight during the summer (April 1 to October 31). During evening events, our doors stay open until 2 AM the following day.

Kamera Gallery

Kino Šiška is more than just a concert venue – it is also home to the Kamera Gallery, aimed at promoting and supporting visual artists and artists of the younger generation. The monthly exhibitions, entrusted to young curators, give our institution a truly special shine. The thoughtful, high-quality and visionary work of visual art rose to new heights in May 2016 with the opening of the DobraVaga gallery and studio in the center of Ljubljana. The Kamera Gallery is equipped with café seats, a bar and screens for promotional videos, making it suitable for catering at events and socializing at exhibition openings, as well as during concerts.
